Fort Ticonderoga in partnership with Mountain Lake PBS will host a special preview screening event for the new PBS series The American Revolution on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
The evening begins at 5:30 PM with light refreshments, followed by the program at 6 PM in the Mars Education Center at Fort Ticonderoga located at 102 Fort Ti Road in Ticonderoga, NY. Guests will enjoy scenes from the upcoming series, a Q&A with historians from Fort Ticonderoga, and a guided tour of Fort Ticonderoga’s newest exhibit “Revolutionary Anthology: Subjects, Citizens, Service.”

The American Revolution is a six-part, 12-hour documentary series directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt. The series explores America’s founding, the Revolutionary War, and the impact of independence on the colonies and the world. The full series premieres on PBS on Sunday, November 16, 2025, with six consecutive nights on Mountain Lake PBS, and streaming on PBS.org and the PBS App.
