A revolutionary new exhibit series engages Fort Ticonderoga’s 250th Anniversary themes for a deep look into the world of the American Revolution. Over five years from 2024 to 2028 the contents of this exhibition will rotate to focus on a different theme allowing guests to experience many facets of the Revolutionary experience across North America, the Western Hemisphere, and the broader Atlantic World. During this period hundreds of artifacts will be on display, including many from the Robert Nittolo Collection, for the first time ever.

Revolutionary Possibilities
In-person and digital exhibitions open May 2, 2026!
Revolutionary Possibilities explores the transformative nature of the Revolutionary era and how it reshaped lives across North America and beyond. Visitors are invited to consider how people across the colonies and around the world responded to the bold declaration of a new republic in a world dominated by monarchies, and to explore the political, military, and human dimensions of independence as both an idea and a conflict. Daily guided exhibit tours, curator-led video highlights, and a digital version of the exhibition extend these stories to audiences near and far.
