General Admission
Youth groups of any size enjoy a special rate for admission to Fort Ticonderoga including the fort, 10,000 sq. feet of museum exhibitions, living history and historic trades, weapons demonstrations, Mount Defiance, the King’s Garden, heritage breed animals, the Heroic Corn Maze (seasonal), Carillon Battlefield hiking trail, the Log House Welcome Center, the Museum Store, and America’s Fort Cafe. The rate also includes free parking.

Take a Field Trip
Your self-guided student adventure begins when you step into the historic fort. Thrill at dramatic weapons demonstrations, explore museum exhibits and historic trades shops including shoemaking, tailoring, boat building, carpentry, and more! Artillery Academy
Discover the math and science behind artillery in the 18th century! From salt-peter and Sulphur to sine and cosine, learn how artillerymen made powerful explosives and exactingly aimed their shots using theory and the art of gunnery.

To Act as One United Body
Become immersed in the daily routine of the Continental soldiers garrisoning Fort Ticonderoga in the weeks after the capture of Fort Ticonderoga by Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold in 1775. Students form a platoon of soldiers, learning teamwork and discipline as they undergo a typical day in the life of soldiers. They learn about the training used to prepare soldiers to meet a powerful enemy, what soldiers ate, where they slept, and experience the confusion of battle. Raise your hand in allegiance and your journey will begin!

Artificer's Apprentice
Participate in engaging hands-on programs such as “Artificer’s Apprentice” which explores trades such as tailoring, carpentry, and shoemaking. During the “Maritime Artificer’s Apprentice” program discover the trades of carpentry, sail-making, and rigging.

Lake Champlain Boat Cruises
One of the best ways to explore Ticonderoga’s epic history is from the water. Embark on an unforgettable adventure with a guide on board our 60 ft. Carillon Touring Boat. See sonar readings uncovering underwater archaeology and discover how North America’s history was made on Lake Champlain.

The Heroic Corn Maze: A Corn Maze Adventure!
Make your way through our 6-acre seasonal corn maze. Be sure to brush up on history so you can answer history clues to find your way through the twists and turns!

Special guided tours and demonstrations will immerse scouts and adults in Fort Ticonderoga’s layer of epic history. The visit will include historic trades’ shops, where they will learn about the key skills that were essential for keeping an army clothed, fed, and prepared, while connecting with scouting goals.
